Farms · Central Karoo & Garden Route

Farms, priced on what the land can do.

A farm isn’t sold like a house. Buyers look at hectares, water, grazing and infrastructure first. I help Sellers present those facts clearly and put the farm in front of serious Buyers.

What Buyers ask first

The five questions every farm listing must answer.

A farmhouse on open Karoo veld in the Northern Cape
  1. 01

    Land and boundaries

Total hectares, how many title deeds make up the farm, surveyed boundaries and the condition of fences and camps.

  2. 02

    Water

Boreholes and their tested yields, springs, dams, registered water-use and any irrigation rights.

  3. 03

    Grazing and production

Veld condition, the carrying capacity of the land and what it has realistically produced in recent seasons.

  4. 04

    Infrastructure

Homesteads, workers’ housing, sheds, kraals, handling facilities, solar and power supply, and road access.

  5. 05

    Legal and tax

Zoning, servitudes and leases, and whether the sale qualifies as a going concern for VAT. Your conveyancer and tax adviser confirm the details.
